The Padrinos Project
Padrinos translated is Godparents and includes the Padrino (Male) and Madrina (Female). In AGUILA, Padrinos are considered to be sponsors of students who have a desire to better themselves and our world through the attainment of a college degree. Becoming a Padrino (Male)/Madrina (Female) to an AGUILA student is regarded as an honor and one that will ensure a dream made real.
Why the Padrinos Project?
While AGUILA has been recognized nationally, the ability to serve the growing number of students who dream of a college degree becomes more difficult and yet our children simply cannot be dismissed. They are in need of guidance, motivation, inspiration and assistance in achieving success in school and in their lives. Unfortunately, far too many of them are falling through the cracks, leaving school, graduating without direction, incarcerated or worse. The cost to serve a student in AGUILA is $1,000.00 per year, an investment with incredible outcomes for students and their families. Many individuals have recognized the value of AGUILA and have expressed desire in supporting the preparation of Arizona children for college, career and life. The concept is simple – the experience truly rewarding.
