Planting Seeds of Success Symposium
Planting Seeds of Success was a special event geared toward 9th thru 11th grade Latino Youth to place seeds of a future in their brains and in their hearts. This day long event focused on preparing for college and beyond by providing an introductory session of what is to come in a more extensive program within AGUILA Youth Leadership Institute.
The event was initially planned for 50 students however 89 students braved a stormy, rainy day to participate in the event which laid the groundwork for their entry into AGUILA and provided each student with a vision of what they can become with a college degree.
The event, which was hosted by the Phoenix School of Law, highlighted wonderful speakers and surprise visits by Raul Yzaguirre, former NCLR CEO and Anthony and Alejandro Chavez, grandsons of Cesar E. Chavez.
