Arizona Democratic Party Field Internship

The Arizona Democratic Party is building an incredibly aggressive internship program for the upcoming election cycle and we’re looking for dedicated students who want to learn about the political process while gaining new communications and leadership skills.

Working with the state party’s coordinated campaign in the fall is a great way to hone communication skills, get comfortable talking with people about sensitive political issues and learn more about how political campaigns are run on the grassroots level.

The coordinated campaign works with Ann Kirkpatrick, Kyrsten Sinema and other candidates running for legislative districts and county offices. The coordinator runs the whole field program for CD9, which means contacting voters via phone and door knocking, doing voter registration and planing events with the candidates up and down the ballot. Our internship requires that interns commit to working at least 10 hours a week (which can be knocked out over several half days or by working almost one whole day) and they’re able to work any day of the week.
