AGUILA held its first Symposium in 2008. The event served 115 high school students in the Greater Phoenix area and took place at the Arizona State University West campus on July 16-19, 2008.

Since then, AGUILA has organized a Summer Youth Symposium every year with increasing number of students. The Summer Youth Symposium is a program that continues to develop the students' understanding of the connection between college achievement and professional success. Freshmen - Seniors of the incoming school year participate in workshops stressing academic achievement, career choices, community service, and personal responsibility.

This year, the 3rd Annual Summer Symposium was held at ASU West on July 28 - 31, 2010. This program was offered to incoming freshmen - Seniors of 2010 - 2011 school year.
