Summer Youth Symposium Objectives |

- Encourage youths to remain in high school and pursue college education.
- Provide a support system for the youth to succeed in setting and achieving their personal, academic, and career goals.
- Educate the youth by providing student forums to talk about the realities of life in their communities, identify potential barriers to success and develop a plan to overcome the barriers.
- Develop partnerships between local school districts, colleges and universities, corporations, non-profit organizations, and government agencies to participate in the educational development and future vocational interests of the youth.
