1) Complete online application

• Make sure to provide complete information for both student and parents.

• After the application is completed please submit your application fee. See step 6 for more details.

2) Essay Requirement

• This section is located on the online application and serves to demonstrate your passion, goals for the future and your commitment.

3) Transcript

• An unofficial copy is required from incoming students.

• If you are an incoming 9th grade applicant, please have a copy of your most recent report card.

4) Recommendation

• All applicants must include at least one recommendation in the application that is a teacher, counselor, coach, AGUILA Alumni, or employer. Family members will not be accepted to complete the recommendation. The recommendation form link can be found above, please notify your evaluator you have selected to complete the form before April 1, 2026.

5) pROGRAM Fee

• A $50.00 program fee (cash, check, money order, or online via Paypal link here) is required to complete the application.

• If there is financial hardship scholarships are made available through The Valder Legacy with required documentation of need. Please contact Natali Martinez at (602) 518-0612 if there is financial hardship.
